A quick reference to the words we use, what they mean, and why we chose them.
- Coalition loyalty
- A network-wide loyalty programme that lets stamps earned at one café count toward milestones across the entire MCC network.
- Coffee personality
- A short, friendly summary of how you like to drink coffee, generated by our quiz. Used to match you to cafés that fit your preferences.
- Cuppa Lover
- A consumer using MCC. The person who takes the quiz and discovers cafés.
- Founding member
- One of the first 50 café owners to join MCC. They get our Growth tier free for three months and a permanent badge on their listing.
- Match score
- A percentage from 0 to 100 showing how well a café fits your coffee personality. Higher means better fit.
- MCC card
- The universal loyalty card every Cuppa Lover gets. Works at every café in the network.
- Personality match
- The result of pairing your coffee personality with a café's profile. Drives discovery, recommendations, and ranking.
- Universal loyalty
- The principle that one card should work at every independent café, instead of every café running its own separate programme.
